The founder of Sun Mountain Tang Soo Do, Ms. Gihan Fellah, has been invited to re-join "Colorado Purple Mountain Dojo/Dojang Association."  Under this association, SMTSD will also be known as "Tangsoology Women's Institute of Colorado Springs."  In other words, SMTSD will be able to teach all it's members the Tang Soo Do style of Tangsoology which was developed by the late Grandmaster Jong H. Lee in 1975!  As of November 19, 2011, SMTSD became an official member of CPMDDA and Ms. Fellah was awarded an Instructor Cetification for the art of Tangsoology by Vernon Medeiros Sabom Nim and Mike Parenteau Sabom Nim.

On  November 19th 2011, The Center for Aikido and Tang Soo Do Studies in Colorado Springs, CO hosted the Annual Grandmaster Lee Memorial work out which members of Sun Mountain Tang Soo Do were invited to.  Wow!  What a great training session!  In honor of the late Gandmaster Lee (b. 1938 - d. 1985) who served in the Marines, the memorial class  was run by Sabom Nim Parenteau from the "Tangsoology Institute of Longmont" in a hard core manner that kept everyone on their toes!  Thank you Mr. Parenteau!

Also this month, Ms. Gihan Fellah participated in the Castle Rock Aikido testing November 12th.  Ranked as a  4th gup in Aikido, Ms. Fellah had the privilage of being uke for several people testing.  Below is a group photo taken after the testing with both Sensei Tip Harris (center front row) and Sensei Ryan Goettsche (second from right, front row).
